How to Reset The Ink Level on The HP Officejet 7110 Printer? [Solution]

The HP OfficeJet 7110 printer includes a built-in surveillance system for ink cartridges alerting a user when the ink runs out. When you replace the cartridges with new ones, the system automatically resets itself because of the chip built into the cartridge. If you warm ink cartridges, the printer may not recognize that the ink level has changed. You will need to disable the monitoring service and reactivate it to reset the system.

Solution One: (For Printer With Black Ink Cartridges)

(1) Press and release the left and right arrow keys on the printer's keyboard at the same time. Press            "7", "8" then "9" on the keypad.

(2) Press "1" to turn off the ink monitor when the display prompts you to confirm.

(3) Press and release both buttons at the same time. Press "7", "8" then "9" on the keypad.

(4) Press "2" to reset the ink screen.

Solution Two: (For Printer With Color Ink Cartridges)

(1) Press and release the left and right arrow keys on the printer's keyboard at the same time. Press            "7", "8" then "9" on the keypad.

(2) Press "1" to turn off the ink monitor when the display prompts you to confirm.

(3) Press and release both buttons at the same time. Press "7", "8" then "9" on the keypad.

(4) Press "2" to reset the ink screen.

(5) Press the left and right arrow keys at the same time, then release. Press "4", "5", then "6" on the printer's keypad.

(6) Press "1" to turn off the monitoring system ink.

(7) Simultaneously press both keys and release. Press "4", "5", then "6" on the keypad.

(8) Press "2" when prompted to reset the ink screen.
