(10) If you are prompted to print a calibration page, so do it.
Solution 3:
In some cases, removing the ink cartridges and resetting the printer may resolve the error message. The steps are below:
(1) Turn on the printer.
(2) Before you continue, wait until the printer is idle and silent.
(3) Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.
(4) Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
(5) Wait for the Missed Cartridges message to appear on the control panel.
(6) With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
(7) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(8) Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet.

(11) The printer may go through a preheat cycle. It is also possible that the lights on the printer are blinking and the carriage is moving.
(12) Wait until the end of the warm-up cycle and until your printer is idle and silent before proceeding.
(13) Wait until the message that the cartridges are missing removes the logo from the black cartridge (the pentagram).
(14) Reinsert the ink cartridges, and close the cartridge access door.
(15) Print a calibration page, if prompted.
(16) If you have disconnected the USB cable, reconnect it to the back of the product.
(17) Try to print.
[NOTE]: HP recommends that you reconnect the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
