How to Reinstall Print Head on HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer? [Solution]

If you got problem on your Print Head, Reinstall Print Head Only perform this procedure, if a missing or defective Print Header message has been emitted and the printer was first turned Off, then turned ON to try to resolve the message. If the message persists, try this procedure:

To reinstall the print head, follow this steps:

(1) Make sure the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer is turned ON.

(2) Open the access door of the print cartridge.

(3) Lift the latch on the print carriage.

(4) Remove the print head by lifting it slightly up and out of the printer.

(5) Make sure the latch is lifted, and then reinsert the print head.

(6) Carefully lower the latch. 

[NOTE]: Make sure the latch is down before reinserting the ink cartridges. If this latch is left in the raised position, the ink cartridges may not be properly positioned, causing problems during printing. For proper ink cartridge installation, the latch must remain in the down position

(7) Close the access door to the ink cartridges.
