How to Fix HP Printer Error Code 0xc19a0003? [Solution]

Error Code 0xc19a0003 is a general problem on most of the HP Printers. Most of HP printer users in long time have this Error Code 0xc19a0003 message. To resolve this problem, you have to perform the steps listed below.

Solution One: (Reset the Printer)

The error message may disappear after the printer is turned off and on. More info about cartridges or printheads, reload the printer so that the error message disappears completely.

Follow the steps below to reset the printer:

(1) Button on the Power button to turn on the product.

(2) When the product is turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.

(3) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(4) Wait at least 15 seconds.

(5) Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet.

(6) Replug the main cable at the back of the product.

If the product does not turn on automatically, press the On / Off button to turn it on.


Solution Two: Remove, Clean, and Reinstall the Print Head (if the print head is removable).

If the previous steps have not resolved the problem, the print head may not be installed correctly or ink or debris may have accumulated on the electrical contacts of the print head. Follow the steps below to check and clean the print head.

STEP 1: REMOVING THE PRINT HEAD

(1) Press the Power button (On / Off button) to turn on the product.

(2) Open the access panel to the cartridges.

(3) To remove each cartridge, press the latch on the front of the cartridge to release it, and then pull it out of its slot.


[NOTE]: Do not leave cartridges longer than 30 minutes. Otherwise, the product, just like the cartridges, could be damaged.

(4) Lift the latch on the carriage to the stop.

(5) Opening the latch.


(6) Lift the print head upright to remove it.

(7) Removing the print head.



STEP 2: CLEANING THE PRINT HEAD

There are three places to clean a print head: at the plastic ramps and the electrical contacts. To clean the print head, performed as follows.

Three areas to clean:


(1) Plastic ramp on the side of the ink nozzles.

(2) Edge located between the ink nozzles and the electrical contacts.

(3) Electrical contacts.

[CAUTION]: Do not touch the ink nozzles. Do not touch the electrical contacts with your fingers. Touch the electrical contacts only with a cleaning cloth.

Do not touch the electrical contacts.


Gather the following cleaning accessories:

(1) Several clean, lint-free cloths or papers. Coffee filters and wipes to clean glasses work well.

(2) Distilled or mineral water. Do not use tap water that may contain pollutants that could damage the print head.

(3) Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth.

(4) Use this damp cloth to wipe the electrical contacts up and down. Do not exceed the edge between the ink nozzles and the electrical contacts. Repeat this step until no ink residue remains on the electrical contacts.

(5) Cleaning the electrical contacts.


(6) Use a new, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe any ink and dust that may have accumulated on the edge between the ink nozzles and the electrical contacts.

(7) After that, clean the edge between the ink nozzles and the electrical contacts.


(8) Use a new, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the plastic ramps on both sides of the ink nozzles. Clean them from the inside out only.

(9) After that, cleaning the ramps.


(10) Before proceeding to the next step, dry the previously cleaned areas with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.

(11) Lightly soak with distilled or mineral water a new, clean, lint-free cloth.

(12) Clean the electrical contacts inside the product by wiping them up and down. Repeat this step until no ink residue remains on the electrical contacts.

(13) Cleaning the electrical contacts inside the product.


(14) Wipe the area with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.


STEP 3: REPLACE THE PRINT HEAD

The steps to replace the print head below:

(1) Lift the latch and reinsert the print head.

(2) Inserting the print head


(3) Before replacing the cartridges, gently lower the latch.

[NOTE]: If you leave the latch open, the cartridges will not fit properly and you may experience printing problems. For proper cartridge placement, the latch must remain in the down position.

(4) Lowering the latch.


(5) Using the color and shape of the icons, slide the cartridges into the appropriate slots until they snap firmly into their slots.

(6) Insert the cartridge into its slot.


(7) Engaging the cartridge.


(8) Close the cartridge access door.


SOLUTION 3: (Reset The Product)

To reset the product of the HP printer follow this steps:

(1) Press the Power button (On / Off button) to turn on the product.

(2) When the product is turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.

(3) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(4) Wait at least 15 seconds.

(5) Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet.

(6) Replug the main cable at the back of the product.

(7) If the product does not turn on automatically, press the On / Off button to turn it on.

(8) If that does not work, contact your Cartridge World store.

Although this particular error does not occur due to driver issues, but many printer errors are result from problem with printer driver. If the errors are result of driver, this problem can be esily fixed and prevented by updating the printer driver.
